Sustainability is an important competitive factor for forward-looking companies. In addition to creating the foundation for long-term, success-oriented business development and the reduction of environmental impact, for example in the context of environmental management systems, the social aspects of corporate policy are also considered systematically. In many companies, this is synonymous with the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
We support companies in the establishment of sustainability management adjusted to the specific needs of the company. We can focus on individual sustainability issues, or develop a holistic system. If desired, we take into account internationally recognized standards such as ISO 26000, or the guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative on sustainability reporting. Companies that have already established a company environment or energy management system have particularly good preconditions for the development of a sustainability management system. There, we can easily integrate the topic of sustainability into existing structures and processes. In doing so, we systematically examine the ecological, social and economic (production) conditions of our customers, and together with their employees, we develop improvement measures and accompany their implementation. In order to make sustainability management truly sustainable, we promote the development of internal expertise and capacities of our customers in our training courses.
In addition to direct effects on the environment, indirect effects — such as business-related traffic – are also caused by companies. With mobility management, negative environmental impacts are systematically and effectively reduced, costs are lowered, and the local traffic situation is improved.
We help companies in the data collection and analysis of mobility-relevant data (e.g. business trips, truck fleet movements, energy consumption and emissions), and develop concrete improvements. Here we evaluate, where possible, the economic effects of the measures in addition to their ecological and social impact. If our customers have already introduced an environmental or sustainability management system, we can easily integrate the mobility topics into existing structures and processes.
In addition to companies, we also advise local authorities on the development and implementation of innovative approaches to promote sustainable mobility. One example of this is Munich’s Business Mobility Management programme.
The demand from consumers, customers and society for companies to commit themselves to sustainability is steadily increasing: people who put their money on a company are not just interested in short-term profits, but in a long-term, economically successful business development. To be sure of this, you need to know how sustainable the company is in the long term and how it meets its social, environmental and economic responsibility. The sustainability report is a very suitable instrument for a transparent presentation of the business-related sustainability performance of a company.
Together with our customers, we create a sustainability report that is in line with the requirements of internationally recognized standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative, and that complies with the accounting obligations of the company. In the ideal case, we can use existing documentation, for example an EMAS environmental statement, and rules, to draw up the sustainability report as efficiently and quickly as possible.
Globalisation and increased networking of value chains: economic sustainability refers not only to the activities at your own location, but also on the mode of operation of partner companies at home and abroad. In the sustainable design of their value-added chains, forward-looking companies see an effective way of reducing operational risks and costs, and of saving resources and combating climate change. For this purpose, the effects of the company are analysed and reduced along the entire value chain.

Together with our customers, we identify the relevant topics and develop approaches and instruments for the improvement of environmental, labour and quality standards. We also develop sustainable sourcing strategies, develop supplier development programs, and moderate their implementation in the regions concerned.
