EMAS

Free introduction of EMAS at energy audit companies

Bavarian companies wanted for pilot project. Apply now!

Since 2015, non-SME companies have been obliged to prove an energy audit according to DIN EN 16247. If companies operate an environmental management system in accordance with EMAS, the EMAS registration also serves as proof of this. The Bavarian State Office for the Environment now wants to support energy audit companies and motivate them to use their efficiency potential beyond the energy audit and to introduce an environmental management system according to EMAS.

For this reason, the Bavarian State Office for the Environment has commissioned Arqum to support four companies subject to energy audits with the introduction of EMAS in an environmental pact project. The selected companies not only benefit from free advice, they also meet the energy audit requirement with EMAS in the future without having to carry out an energy audit. In addition, they save valuable resources and costs in the long term.

Are you interested in participating in the pilot project? Then please contact Jörn Peter () or Isabel Vihl (). We are happy to check whether the requirements for participation are met. The project lasts from October 2019 to July 2020.
