Restriction of changeover period for ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015:
All certificates issued in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 lose their validity on 15th September 2018. This means it is now less than ten months before changeover to the new standard requirements!
As the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) surprisingly announced last week, this deadline may even end earlier. As early as from 15th March 2018, all audits for reviewing ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 must be carried out according to the new standards. This applies to both the initial and re-certification as well as surveillance audits.
This means that a scheduled audit according to the existing standard can only be carried out until 14th March 2018. In addition, a “transition audit” must be carried out by 14th September 2018. Otherwise, the certificates lose their validity and a new first certification will be required. The time scale of the transition audits corresponds to a review audit.
Arqum supports you during the “final spurt“ to convert to the new standards. Our certified ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 auditors can assess – within the framework of an internal audit, for example – whether or not you comply with the requirements of the new standards.
